Did you view again the outside shape of these magnificent windows.. and then go back to the inside image?? .. The artists who did these stained glass windows, and some, as I understand needed to be replaced in parts (same hue, depth of hue, consistency of glass etc.) must deal with a lot of 'lead'... Today maybe not, since discovered, too much lead exposure is extremely harmful.. Well, they are not visible walking the 'grounds' we do anymore.. just wondered.. since I am interrested in trying lead glass works.. my own designs.. Here I see doves (peace)- forms of flowers that appear often like stars rays... and I will look for the ones, which show their facets of color.. intensified by light..
