Artist Statement -

The purpose of this portfolio was to introduce myself as a dance exercise technical basis teacher.
Over the years, after my carcrash,I have developed a one of the kind dance program, emphasing specific
breathing method, involving body energies, suitable to every one:new mind against the old one.
Did I loose my time?NO!Studing medecine:drawing outside and inside of the human body led me to the painting.
Did I change something?NO!Always flexible,I dragged these body energies(universal) to the painting:same
consciousness, more improved! How I manage my paintings?Starting from an object,I go on,in osmosis with my muse,
my deep self consciousness, surely not remaining on surface!Surprised of the result!During the work we are
silently in a second phase:each painting drags a step upper, always in the deep consciousness!
Staying on surface conducts to the failure.
What I paint is a kind of puzzle. In this deep consciousness every thing is linked, not separated:
thus new way to work in all scopes.

As I said upper my dance creation is always in my heart,so I create a new way to express myself: the painting, enjoying this new form of creativity

Some explanations about my teaching: good teachers but never satisfied I always was looking for a new method all along the years. After a carcrash, I decided to dig deeply this material. The mainkind is a good position of your articulations and a physical building: it's important to start by making your backbone supple( working out solaris plexus, vertebras:lombaires and sacrum) supporting by a deep breath. More your backbone becomes supple, more your hips begin to open. As you are getting stronger, the exercises become harder, that's why several levels are necessary. After a lot of exercises we practice the splits, but instead of proceeding by the pubis, we did it by the knees which gives you a huge strength to the inside of the legs and which work out the "endehors du bas de jambe". My pictures show you this type of work: first and second level, the splits are taken very high, the third level:the dancers are lying on their bas de jambes making strong the muscles of their whole legs, which is necessary for the batteries. My work concerns a lot of people, including dancers. I was teaching in a school of dance near the Moulin Rouge, the heart of Montmartre which was the kingdom of painters like Van Gogh, Toulouse Lautrec and so.
As I said upper I designed to understand the muscles and no longer further I jump in the painting
