Artist Statement

Due to being an architect, both the architecture-like mentality and architectural expression tools have been shown in my paintings unconsciously, to the extent that I reach from architecture to painting and vice versa in my works. This mutual interaction is enjoyable and useful to me.

Painting caused me to consider the architecture as a process-oriented and not result-oriented process. While painting, I have never thought about the result and always let the painting lead me based on my feelings, so I could subjugate myself to the process of the architecture, as well....
