I embarked on a journey a long time ago. A journey unto myself. I walk and sometimes sit and rest. I have come across several splendid sights and resting places, where the winds are clean and the waters are sweet to drink. Also the dark arenas where things wait with bayonets of foreboding drawn. I still walk.
This journey has among other things taught me a lesson in how to see. How to see the layers of emotions and masks of the beautiful creation called mankind. The “Dasien“ of Martin Heidegger and or the self as described in the Upanishads and Bhagwat Gita. Painting comes to me naturally where I feel the ecstasy while creating. Those moments where I can tangibly see the images which my journey throw forth.
And may I then say I am self-taught, but then I will be wrong because this journey teaches me. And I am still learning. I still walk.
