Artist Statement -



What is inspiration Is it a sudden spark, which of course, any real artist will know is not true. Personally, for me, I always have to make one big mistake with my painting before it comes together the way the original spark intended it to be. I love working with strong colours it gives a painting life and dimension -- which may be because of my South African background.
