Artist Statement -



The interface between photography and the plastic arts has consistently been a driving force in my work. I begin with a photograph and work with digital collage and sometimes add paint, ink, pastel or other materials to the printed image.

My current works are portraits of animals which I photographed at fairs, reworked in photogshop and printed digitally. I am particularly interested in the expressive characteristics which these animals project.
