Ever since I was a child I have enjoyed drawing and turning a blank piece of paper into something special. In July 2010 I graduated with a National Diploma in Art and Design at 'Suffolk New College' (Ipswich) where I specialised in Photorealism and Fine Art.
Photorealism is a type of drawing that is very detailed and is done in such a way that the end results looks as real as a photograph. It is quite time consuming but can be very interesting. I put lots of effort into bringing the image to life so that it pulls the viewer in and captures them. I specialise in drawing animals... both wildlife and pets. I have a love for all animals and it flows through my drawings both in the drawing process and in the finished peice. However i am also interested in the human form and human faces so i draw portraits aswell.
The Pencils i use are Graphite ranging from 4H to 8B in denisty. I use smooth thick cartridge paper of the highest quality and i prefer and pencil rubber because of the small tip. The tools of the trade aren't very interesting but im glad of what can be done with them.
