Artist Statement
Since my heritage is from the coast of Ireland where people lived off the Sea, I have always been interested in and have studied the forms and structures of fishing tools, traps, boats, and ceremonial containers from the ancient to contemporary Celtic and Oceanic civilizations. The Newest Sculptures are Made of Iron and Brass some were coated in enamel , so they could be put in the landscape....
