Artist Statement

His works
Although varied in nature all his work derives from a unique core embodying his desire to detach painting from literature yet, not devoid of poetry. In this way he constantly renews in the viewer the pure emotion of nature and the spirit.

Bamboo
He is not seeking a representation of the outside - the mere physical appearance - but, to become one with the physicality of things.

He transcribes, using various subjects, with different media on monochrome backgrounds (basso continuo), in multiple interpretations, the infinite vibrations of the immanent light on a subject representation.

By means of abstraction he unequivocally gives sufficient input in order to form an idea which will reveal itself to the spectators given time thus becoming self-revelatory.
