Artists Statement
I always wanted to paint, but I didn’t have time until I quit my job in the military after 12 years and moved from Sweden to Germany. I needed a change of environment, and it was a relief to be able to finally express feelings and energy through art and painting – there´s no black and white here, no right or wrong, and no one can say it has to be or look this way or another.
My paintings are often a result of emotion, and they are often unplanned and spontaneous. I´m not looking to paint things perfect or realistic, but I do strive to make them balanced and attractive to the eye, the motif and colors alike. I work a lot with palette knife and acrylics, and also structure such as wall-spackle and sand.
I made these Greeting Cards, all prints of my paintings, so that also You could enjoy a little piece of art. Thank you for purchasing one of my prints!
