Art has been a life long exploration and I am fortunate to have the opportunity to paint as a professional artist. My recent focus in art has been on oil paintings of the California landscape. As urban sprawl takes away more of the unique and open landscape, I am intriqued by capturing the natural settings that remain as well as the interesting interplay at the intersections of nature and urbanization.
