"Internal visual expression, form the abstract works.
Created in the moment from the subconscious."
My paintings reflect the love of both the man-made and the organic visual influences that I had while growing up. In some cases I like to use bold bright colors. The electric primary colors often give a strong feeling. When the same colors are softly blended a soft almost tranquil feeling comes to mind. I like to use subtle and harsh edges and the illusion of texture, creating depth, and movement to form a composition. The elements of the painting all come together like a piece of music. Visual stimulation is the love of various abstract shapes, textures and form.
"Internal visual expression, form the abstract works. Created in the moment from the subconscious." This sums up my approach to my paintings. This process allows me to escape the ordinary, the thoughtless routine. Not noticing the important and often subtle beautiful details around you. The details that are captured in thought and mental images and tucked away. When the viewer looks at my paintings they may interpret the work in the form of a feeling, or possibly a mood. You won’t find a specific identifiable person, place or thing. The painting may invoke a sub- conscious thought and an escape from reality… A dream like effect....
