Artist Statement

My artwork is primarily created using pastels on suede. Over the course of 5 years I have found many new techniques to get the desired efects I am looking for.
My true passion is the wildlife and Native American art. As you explore my portfolio you will see a variety as I explore and find new challenges through diversity in my subject matter. I am intrigued by realism but there is a another side of me that wants a release to just let the colors flow. By doing this, I find a rejuvination when I go back to the realistic mode.

Cheers and enjoy!
