Artist Statement

Art starts in the mind of the artist. It is an energy that
must be transmitted via our body into material used to represent it. For the writer it is a manuscript; for the musician it is sound created via an instrument; for the product designer it is a three-dimensional object; and for the painter, like myself, it is a painting of light, colors and shadows, combining to create appeal and excitement in body and soul of the viewer.

My art plays with light and color that I see in natural sunlight. I capture it with acrylic paint that is pure and brilliant. In turn, I want it to capture the hearts of those who see it and remain forever, vivid and lustrous, in their memories....
