Work was hand printed by the Artist at The Open Studio in Printmaking in Philadelphia at The Fleisher Art Memorial, which is associated with the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The print size is 15 inches high x 13 inches wide.
This etching was executed on six separate zinc plates that were placed on the printing press bed in three sets of two.
The work was inspired by a painted diptych, entitled ARCHAEOLOGY, which was created by the Hungarian artist, Ferenczy Karoly, who was born on February 8, 1862 and died March 18, 1917. This is the third and final etching edition of this DIFALCO artwork. The print measures eighteen inches high by fifteen inches wide, or 45.720cm by 40.640cm. Please note that this etching is shipped and sold to the buyer ready for hanging in an archival mat and glass frame. The frame size is 24 by 18 inches.
