Artwork Description:

On posters in general: At the request of Dansk Plakatmuseum (Danish Museum of Poster Art) all new posters are sent to the museum where I now have one of the largest collections. After a French visit to Dansk Plakatmuseum's Cassandra exhibition, I received a letter from Mairie de Paris, Direction des Affaires Culturelles, Thierry Devynck: I am deeply impressed by the quality of the works which you have created and which Peder Stougaard of Dansk Plakatmuseum in Aarhus showed me. In particular, he showed me a poster which, as far as I remember, was entitled "Landmandsliv - en kunstart" (Farmer's Life - An Art Form). The drawing is at once full of charm and permanence. Would it be possible for Bibiloteque Forney to acquire a collection which is representative of your work? I would really like to include your work in our collections, etc., etc. A collection was subsequently sent to Paris. This poster is part of the Forney, Paris collection. The description is in French. If you want it in English, please feel free to e-mail me.

Thus, we always offer individualized attention to each client for every purchase however small or large it may be. We treat all our clients with great attention and care. We are not a big box store -- not like a warehouse store shipping low quality reproduction art -- not like a big discounter --or website that offers "free shipping" which usually drives the price up and takes money away from the artist. We are a company with over 25 years of art experience and we always treat our artists fairly. On the internet since 1995, absolutearts.com understands that each original work of art is valuable. Whether your art purchase is a gift, a corporate piece, a private art commission or an artwork for your living room - we always respect your taste and privacy!
