This etching was inspired by an albumin print created between 1865 and 1886, in Paris. It is from The A. D. White Architectural Photographs Collection, Rare Manuscript Collections, Cornell University, Accession Number 1553090.01449, and depicts the door of Notre Dame Cathedral. I printed the work by hand using French, oil based inks on British Stonehenge cream colored. My etching techniques included intaglio, aquatint, and drypoint. This First Edition of Three is limited to FIVE prints. The image size is 10 inches high by 8 inches wide or 25.400 cm by 20.320 cm. Ten baths in Nitric acid were used. The print size measures 15 inches high by 12 inches wide or 38.100cm by 30.480cm.
