Artwork Description:

Full Title is GHOSTS OF ROYAL STREET, NEW ORLEANS, A GEOMETRIC SEANCE. This etching was created using six zinc plates placed on the press three above three to produce one single image. Each plate measured three inches wide by four-inches high. The print is fifteen inches high by fourteen inches wide. The scene, from 1890 to 1901, was inspired by a photograph rom the Detroit Publishing Company Collection, PrintsPictures, Library of Congress, Washington, DC, USA. I Used oil-based French etching ink on RivesBFK white paper. This is the FIRST of TEN PRINTS in the First of THREE Editions. Please note that this etching is shipped and sold to the buyer without a frame or mat. This keeps the price low and also allows the collector a choice in framing. The etching is shipped in a sturdy cardboard box. The print is wrapped in two layers of acid free glassine and then placed between two archival boards. This is next placed into the shipping box and securely packed with bubble wrap. The price from Absolute Arts Dot Com does NOT shipment costs to the collector. However, packing supplies and handling costs are included in the price.
