Artwork Description:

This neo geo etching is executed on two separate zinc plates and printed as one work on paper. The overall image 7 inches high by 10.5 inches wide. Each plate measures 7 inches high x 5 inches wide. The print is 15 inches high, 38.1cm, by 18 inches wide, 45.7cm. The work was hand printed and published by the artist at The Center for Works on Paper in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Please note that this etching is shipped to the collector without a frame or mat. This keeps the price low and allows the collector personal choice in mat selection and framing. A sturdy cardboard box is employed for shipping the work. The etching is first wrapped in two layers of acid free glassine and then placed between two archival boards. This is next placed into the shipping carton and securely packed with bubble wrap. The Absolute Arts Dot Com price includes all handling costs, shipment supplies, and the coast of the shipment box. Mailing costs are added. My media consists of blended oil based etching inks, Charbonnel brand form Paris, on French RivesBFK Cream paper. This work is both abstract, yet real. It is fun, but serious. My interest in geometry, sacred geometry, and the pyramid all contributed to my motivations in creating this. The obsessive attention to line and shadow contribute to the depth of the etching. The blended colors of red and violet, balanced with black and white, raises the forms off the paper after a period of concentration by candlelight.
