Artwork Description:
Inspired by an archived photo from the US Library of Congress of New Orleans French Quarter in 1890. This is one of about twelve etchings in my BIG EASY series, a group of works that examines the architecture, history and culture of old and contemporary New Orleans. French etching ink on RivesBFK white paper. The etchings were hand printed by the artist at The Center for Works on Paper, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. The artist used a French black ink, Charbonnel brand, and RivesBFK white etching paper. Mulberry bark paper, Hand-dyed and infused with Kozo threads, from Thailand was used in the Chine colle process. FRAME AND MAT INCLUDED.
