Artwork Description:

The edition size is limited to only ten and is printed on STONEHENGE Gray printmaking paper and a blend of colored etching inks, all oil-based and Charbonnel Brand from France. Print size is 11 inches wide by 15 inches high, or 28cm x 38cm. The work features Pan, or Pano in Italian, who is half man and half goat from the religions of Ancient Greece and Rome. He is thee God of wine and merriment. . . a God of erotic pleasures, naked dancing, inebriation, and celebrations by firelight under the moon. Please note that this etching is shipped to the collector without a frame or mat. This keeps the price low and allows the collector personal choice in mat selection and framing. A sturdy cardboard box is employed for shipping the work. The etching is first wrapped in two layers of acid free glassine and then placed between two archival boards. This is next placed into the shipping carton and securely packed with bubble wrap. The Absolute Arts Dot Com price includes all handling costs, shipment supplies, and the cost of the shipment box. Mailing costs are added to the price. The work was adapted from sketches in my visual diary.
