Artwork Description:

The etching, SEA WHORES, uses intaglio, aquatint and chine colle techniques. It is intimate in size, since the print is only 10 inches x 7 inches, or 25.4 cm. 18 cm. The oil based ink is Charbonnel brand and the paper is RivesBFK white both imported from France. The colored mulberry-bark paper used in the chine colle process is Unryu brand from Thailand, which is infused with Japanese kozo threads. The work was hand printed and published by the artist at The Center for Works on Paper in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Please note that this etching is shipped to the collector without a frame or mat. This keeps the price low and affords a wide selection of choice for the collector with regard to matting and framing. A sturdy cardboard box is employed for shipping the work. The etching is first wrapped in two layers of acid free glassine and then placed between two archival boards. This is next placed into the shipping carton and securely packed with bubble wrap. The Absolute Arts price includes all handling costs, shipment supplies, Certificate of Authenticity, and the shipment carton. Mailing and transportation costs are added to the price.
