This fantasy was based on my original drawings of a photo I took in Paris 1987 within The Louvre Museum. Media includes oil-base etching ink Charbonnel brand from Paris on RivesBFK white paper. A mulberry bark paper from Thailand infused with JAPANESE Kozo threads and hand-treated with methyl cellulose was cut from a stencil and placed over with winged figure in my Chine colle process. Intaglio, aquatint, and drypoint were also other studio methods employed in the creation of this work. The etching was printed and published by the artist at The Center for Works on Paper in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania AS PART OF THE OPEN STUDIO IN PRINTMAKING. THE ZINC PLATE REQUIRED FIVE RE-WORKINGS AND BATHS IN NITRIC ACID.
THIS PRINT NUMBER TWO OF FIVE IS FROM THE FIRST EDITION OF FOUR EDITIONS.
