Artwork Description:

�Road to Spruce Head Island�, 18 x 24 acrylic on canvas, was inspired while vacationing in Maine at a bed & breakfast. The road, lined with granite boulders, leads to Spruce Head Island where an abandoned quarry is now filled with water. On the other side of Spruce Head resides a lighthouse inhabited, presumably, by Jamie Wyeth. The smell of the sweet salt air permeates the room through the open window as the tides ebb and flow through its daily cycles. Simon, the resident Portuguese Water Dog, plays a game of fetch with my wife Laura as she soaks up the moment of bliss. The original is for sale $3,400.
