Artwork Description:
As a young boy, growing up in this small town located about 25 miles east of Atlanta, I never dreamed that about forty years later I would be doing a painting of the little town as I remember it. Though many of us that grew up in Redan didn't realize it at the time, it was a great place to live, back around 1965. Whenever you went into or through the town that consisted of three small stores, you were sure to see a lot of friendly smiles coming from the faces of all the local merchants, and your friends from school were always out riding their bikes, or walking up and down the sidewalks, chances were that if someone passed by, they would say hello and even wave. Unfortunately the little stores of Redan do not exist anymore, as a matter of fact, I could not even find any photo's to help with accuracy of the painting, For those who own this print, I hope it will bring back some good memories of a great town............ Matted studio print (13x15 overall).... shrink wrapped and ready to frame.....$50.00
