Artwork Description:

This is an image of a rather precocious child seated on a dodo. It doesn't belong to any story (that I know of) and is a limited edition aquatint etching. The zinc plate has received several dips in acid to produce the contrast where it 'bites' the surface and the ink for each image is applied by hand which takes some time
