Artwork Description:

This One of a kind print on paper, monoprint, was created by my painting the reversed scene on plate glass with printing inks and then placing the RivesBFK white paper onto the glass. I then roll the image onto the paper with a marble rolling pin, controlling the pressure with my hands and arms. It depicts an All Hallows Eve scene from my childhood when I saw a witch on a broom flying past a full moon in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. Size is about 15 inches wide by 22 inches high. The work was hand printed and published by the artist at The Center for Works on Paper in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Please note that this etching is shipped to the collector without a frame or mat. This keeps the price low and allows the collector personal choice in matt selection and framing. A sturdy cardboard box is employed for shipping the work. The etching is first wrapped in two layers of acid free glassine and then placed between two archival boards. This is next placed into the shipping carton and securely packed with bubble wrap. The Absolute Arts Dot Com price includes all handling costs, shipment supplies, and the coast of the shipment box. Mailing costs are added. The intense colors and lyrical design can optically draw the viewer into her or his own dream world, especially is the meditation is done at night and only by candle light I suggest using dark purple tapers.
