WORK WAS PRINTED BY HAND AND PUBLISHED BY THE ARTIST, JERRY MAZUR-DI FALCO AR THE CENTER FOR WORKS ON PAPER, FLEISHER ART CAMPUS, PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA, USA IN THE OPEN STUDIO IN PRINTMAKING .
Note: This one-of-a-kind print combines the techniques of etching Intaglio and Monoprinting it is the third in a series titled “THE TORTUTED FACE OF CHRIST” devoted to Jesus’ execution by both the State and the Hebrew Temple Aristocracy. THE ETCHING PORTION OF THIS ARTWORK WAS EXECUTED ON A ZINC-PLATE SEVERAL NITRIC ACID BATHS WERE EMPLOYED TO OBTAIL FINAL RESULT. It is important to note that this “work on paper” is sold without a mat or frame the print is shipped flat between glassine and two acid free boards. This packet is then placed in a cardboard box packed with bubble wrap. Shipment weight is two pounds.
The outer perimeter of this original print measures about 15 high by 11.25 inches wide or 38.1 cm by 28.6 cm. The media includes oil-based etching inks from France over silkscreen ink on paper. It was photographed on a cork-board with four push pins supporting it in place pins are not pushed through the paper. The ink extends directly to the paper s edge in places. The paper used was RivesBFK white from France. To repeat, low price does not include either a frame or a mat ALL shipment costs are added.
