Artwork Description:

Adhesion is an early sculpture by the artist that represents the connection in modernsociety between natural beauty and beauty-enhancing products. This sculpture's fractured life-cast hand, represents natural beauty. The photo illustrates a series of nail polish bottles that compose the back of the fractured hand. The nail polish bottles, which represent beauty-enhancing products, were taken from molds of real nail polish bottles admired by the artist for their beautiful shapes. Perhaps you can recognize some of the brand-name bottles. The patina, or coloration, is composed of ferric nitrate, which gives the piece a deep red tone. Please visit my web site WWW. PAULORZECH.
