Artwork Description:

Inspired by the painting The Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli my sculpture represents the moment of creation where Venus is dreamed into existence from the void. It is my hope that viewers will feel that dreamlike state and reflect upon when and where these moments of thought transform into reality. Following in the tradition of the masters I have chosen to create this piece in marble.
