Artwork Description:
Sumi-e, japanese newspaper stuck on wood panel.
It represents recycling; South America sells trees to the Japanese, they make woodpulp which is changed into paper, then into newspaper. This is sent back to South America where it ends up as a japanese painting representing a tree.
Life, the world, is one whole and everthing in or on it is being recycled at one point in time/space.
Next comes a detail from the sculpture.
