Paul Wesson is fascinated by the process of discovering the parameters of the metal’s limitations and possibilities under his skilled touch. “I am always curious to discover, in something like a game, how far I can dictate the form of the sculpture, before the metal begins to answer me as to just how much it is willing to comply with my wishes.” From original concept to completed sculpture, each piece changes as he pushes the metal’s restrictions in conjunction with his own evolving point of view.
“I am not interested in defining the whys of life or art. I am interested in exploring the forms it takes.”
This sculpture is a infinity loop which looks beautiful when viewed from any angle. This is a lovely subtle statement piece. The form can be scaled to be made any size required.
