Artwork Description:

This sculpture borrows from the Archaic Greek idea of the perfect male figure the kouros. I have added modern elements in the combining of different stones, the unfinished sides and the exposed edges. The sculpture is made of a limestone head, alabaster torso and limestone lower body and base. Four separate pieces are combined to create the finished art.
