Artwork Description:   This is the seventh piece in the Contaminated Water series of textile artworks. Rust pigmentation was applied to a hand dyed whole cloth textile. Scientific iron filings were used to create the mutated lily pads. Dense hand stitching emphasizes the interior of each lily pad while the circular pattern in the background gives the piece physical as well as visual texture. Can be hung in vertical shown or horizontal orientation. Artwork is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist. Currently on loan to US Embassy in Lima, Peru
