Lola Estrella - After being painting ,experiencing mix-media techniques, I am still doing this ...I decided to work on textiles using batik techniques , discvered in a journey to Indonesia ,visiting Bali..I came acrooss with artisan village of Ubud , and I just started a new way in the experience of creative art. Attracted to referent of Art as "the Meninas" by Spanish Artist Velazquez ,Modernist Gaudi , or Nazari Art in Granada, Andalucia.....I decided include these referents in my new experience. What here I exhibit are unique handmade pieces , no more than one in the collection , in case someone wants more of one piece , they will be made to order....
