Artwork Description:
The Warrior has three faces he can show to you, a profile left and right and a full-on frontal pose. Which one is the flesh and bloodGood question, but hesheit did not tell me. I was originally fooled by the right-facing profile and found the front facing warrior after filling in the color. Then, my wife Emma discovered the third left-facing warrior. Maybe it was the smoke and explosions going off all around. Originally, I meant to talk about warrior versus terrorist, hero versus unholy killer, about points of view, and the labels we put on people who for whatever reason put on the fabric of confrontation and then journey out into deaths heightened thrill ride. Who is this particular warriorWell, since it does depend on your point of view, a, well a. . . . you decide. I kinda like the guy and was thinking of inviting him over this weekend for fish and chips. The Warrior is a watercolor 8 x10 painted on acid free 90 lb cold press stock. warrior, war, watercolor, soldier, surreal, fantasy
