Blue Painting is one of the more ambitious serial paintings utilizing chinese water colour paint on board. It comprises 30 panels each 18 inches by 18 inches. The painting could be said to speak about the sky. It follows the Clouds and Mountains series and predates the political paintings. It is probably my last painting in the almost four decades of painting abstract landscape for which my work is well known. Medium: Chinese watercolour, modeling paste on board.
