Eve Thompson was born and raised in Newport Beach California, Where she first studied watercolor at the famous Rex Brandt School of Painting. It was here that she learned the master techniques of transparent watercolor. She also studied with other leading artist of southern California including Robert E. Wood, Milford Zornes, and Roger Armstrong.
Specializing in watercolor, Eve has become a master of the medium and has won many top honors and cash awards in professional art competitions. Her fresh luminous watercolors capture the very presence and warmth of sunlight itself.
Thompsons artwork has been juried into the famed Laguna Beach Festival of the Arts, and has exhibited there for eight years. She was a watercolor instructor at the Irvine Fine Arts Center, and teaches private and group lessons at her studio.
