Artist Statement -



Janet Glatz paints in water soluble oils on linen canvas exclusively. Her genre is realistic naturalism, while her favorite subjects are coastlines and shores. Though she has ventured briefly into tonalism and a looser style, she gravitated back to her careful, faithfully realistic depiction of Maines most beautiful landscapes and seascapes.
