Artist Statement -



Hi, My name is Jeff Turner. I am 62 years old and living in Bexley, Ohio, USA.

I recently retired from a career in information technology. You see, after getting a couple college degrees in fine arts from The Ohio State University, I couldnt find a job but fell into the computer field through adult education. Long story and my resume can be found on linkedin.com.

I have been drawing and painting since High School. Most recently my work has taken a political theme. Since Donald Trump became president, I feel compelled to make political statements with my work. Although there are no drawings on this site, you can see some at www.jeffturnerart.com.

My first big exhibition was while in High School. I was one of only two in my High School to have a piece accepted into the governors youth art exhibition. Since then I have exhibited in a couple local art galleries, the local library, coffee shops, bars and the like. I could make a list but who really wants to see that.
