The Wagners forgot that we were coming for dinner so they hurriedly broke out the wine and the potato chips. A good time was had by all. I sent them an illustrated thank-you to mark the occasion. The postage is enhanced with a mock stamp version of my painting, Papasan, which itself mimics a postage stamp. Colored pencil, graphite pencil, U. S. postage stamps, mock postage stamp on ordinary business envelope (prior to cancellation). Collection of Terry and Francie Wagner, Spencer County, Indiana.
