.... My best friend 'Pauline' made this square, beautiful peace.. in bluish green... places showed a playful blue.. red dots.. and it hit me as grass.. with flowers.. not what she exactly wanted.. You make something out of it.. Make Poppies.. You are the Poppy 'lady'...(meaning, I painted a series of Poppies.. and the result surprised me.. everyone loved them..)so I did... worked several weeks on it.. meaning.. once a week each time for 3 hours.. moved the powdered glas around.. baked it.. then added... and 'played' with this delightful piece, until just right.. soon became a favourite amongst the glass enamelists in this course.. ' Monet'... they said.. I like 'Monet'.. and I cannot make 'a Monet'.. would not want to...... this is a Luise Andersen.. like all my art pieces.. 'Just specially so' here I smile...... .. and I bet.. you know why..
