Artwork Description:

The 10th piece in the Aged Psychedelic series continues my exploration of using the geared drawing tool, Wild Gears, for creating my hand stitched designs directly onto the artwork. The airbrush paint colorations highlight orange, yellow, red, and a bit of blue. Up close inspection reveals delicate changes in color in the marbled ground. The hand stitched design includes radiating lines from the center design outward and contains a secondary mesh design in the center of the piece. The detail image of the back of the artwork shows the extensive stitching at its best. A close-up image of the front of the work shows the delicate mix of muted color and hue from the marbling and the shadow play created by the stitching.
