Artwork Description:

Work in this series explores child culture through appropriation of various images from vintage 1970's wallpaper and wrapping paper. The wallpaper used in this piece was the Little Rascals wallpaper that lined my nursery during my infancy. Through repetition and dropping the characters into a new environment, this work plays off of a sense of childlike wonder combined with a tongue-in-cheek unease.
