Artwork Description:

The Collage Series evolved from a history of working with primarily color field abstract images. This series created a basic formula using four dynamic elements, the graphic image, a poured paint image, separating lines, and a bar. The lines function as the communicator between the graphic image and the poured image, indicating a dialogue between the two. The bar was there to stabilize the unstable organic objects. The result was a structured exploration of brilliant colors, shapes, and form and their relationship to how two humans relate.
