Painting: Oil on Canvas. I like to enjoy the beauty of the sea. I like the simplicity and laconism of the seascape, its optimism. It can not but cause admiration from the viewer, because only here is the tremendous unity of light, air and space. The atmosphere of silence and tranquility is present in the canvas and become its most important element. The stillness of the water surface and a light breeze create a general harmony. I depict the sky, almost merging with the sea and repeating all its shades and moods. My canvas, like any seascape, pacifies. The sky on the canvas touches the sea surface, and then gradually merges into one. The clouds and the sea itself seem to be illuminated from within and it seems that they can not be separated - they live beyond time and space. The fusion of the sea and the horizon resembles the edge of the earth that seafarers of all times and peoples wanted to find. Vague clouds, painted with gentle tones of cream, blue looks like fairytale air castles. The seascape can calm and pacify in any situation, because water is one of three things that you can look at for ever.
