The Rapa-Nui Exclusive Selection. Seleccin Exclusiva del Isla de Pascua. Easter Island Exclusive Selection. Claudio A. Batista Diaz from Chile, who is born on Easter Island and director Torben Cornelius have encouraged me to make a Rapa-Nui Exclusive Selection. On 22 May 2003 we had a fruitful conversation in "Lille Fejringhus" about the island and especially the Rapa-Nui culture, legends and mythology. Thanks to Claudio and Torben. My further studies have been based on Claudio's recommendations and the keywords we derived from our conversation. This art work is inspired by the most spectacular Rapa-Nui script rongorongo glyph number 44 - "taa", and I have added an eye of a birdman to clearify the connection to Rapanui legends and mythology - and from wondering.
