Other times we may not even know where our path lies. But, if we learn to listen for our guides and ancestors, they will guide back to and lead us along our path, through the dark of night and the light of the day. There are times we lose ourselves, our core essence, and our way, simply because we have learned to compromise ourselves to fit in with those around us. So often we lose the wonder we had as children, and we can no longer see the beauty that lies around us at any given moment in time. Often we must learn to rekindle that flame within ourselves, to look within, and to rediscover who we truly are. Even if there are times we must travel our path on our own, we are never truly alone because our ancestors are always there to guide us. No matter what others may think, there is always beauty around us, and just as much beauty within ourselves if we are brave enough to allow it to flourish. Don’t be afraid to be yourself.
