Artwork Description:

This painting is dedicated to cats. Big, small, friendly, sassy, mellow, rebellious, all of them. Their slick mannerisms, paw-gestures and facial expressions are all charming. They look like pampered movie stars. Cats look magical enough to have at least nine lives. I went even further I’ve added a tenth life. In my imagination, during their tenth life, they relocate to a fairy-tale forest, grow butterfly wings and fly from tree to tree to the clouds and back. I created a soft pink aura around the cat and used magenta and cobalt-turquoise-light colors for the cat’s body to hint at the illusoriness of the scenery. The shape of my cat is fluid, which is supposed to symbolize its impermanence. This artwork is one of a kind. Made with high-quality professional oil paint on a gallery wrapped canvas. Painting is signed dated on both front and back. Painted sides, unframed and ready to hang.
