This impressionistic painting is painted from a memory of a evening in Gibraltar. Magical colours fell on the calm sea around the island. I think the high rock behind me almost acted like a mirror, trapping and reflecting the colours back towards the sunset creating an even more colourful view and I stood in awe of the show of light, it lasted only a few minutes, I ve never really appreciated a sunset as much and I guess I never really appreciated a few minutes as much either.
